What we are eating. Take-out or delivery (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.) from our favorite local restaurants! We were heartbroken to learn that, after 43 years, one of our favorite East Bay Italian restaurants closed: Prima Ristorante in Walnut Creek. (Thankfully the wine shop next door remains open). Local businesses need us more than ever. Some of our favorites are Pancoast Pizza in Walnut Creek, Postino (Lafayette), Jack’s Restaurant Bar & Grill (Pleasant Hill, San Bruno, San Mateo, and Newark), all the Starks Restaurants in the North Bay including Willie’s Wine Bar (Santa Rosa), Monti’s (Santa Rosa), and Bravas (Healdsburg). Also, Sweet T’s Restaurant + Bar (Windsor) and The Parish Café (Healdsburg) for more casual offerings. How we are getting our travel fix. Watching the series Street Food: Latin America on Netflix. In this vibrant docuseries, Latin American chefs tell their stories and bring a taste of tradition and innovation to their delicious offerings. Need more? Watch Street Food: Asia (also on Netflix). Explore street food in nine Asian cities and hear the stories of the people who craft the delicious fare. Are you hungry yet? Don’t forget to stop by your local breweries and wineries for libations too!
Cheers!
Tips for staying entertained and well-fed.
